You can work that out by using stoichiometrie, S also gives some gas as you said but it actually slows down the mix a bith, in case of blackpowder it eliminates the precipation of carbonate so the mix will burn slower.

If you do that you will overfuel you're composition, sulfur has only one goal and that is to make the sas more sensitive(flahs more sensitive :shock: )

Ba(NO3)2 can be made by 2 easy ways(the ways that i use and know) First one: BaCO3+2HNO3--->Ba(NO3)2+H2CO3(the H2CO3 will most likely fall apart in H2O and CO2) Second way: BaCO3+2NH4NO3--->Ba(NO3)2+2NH3+H2CO3(watch out for ammonia vapours, the H2CO3 will most likely fall apart to) BaCO3 can be bought at several places, just search a lot for it

Ba(NO3)2 isn't hard to find or make,if you want a flash core for the brightness of flash then i recommend you to use KNO3/Al/S flash(slow and quiet bright) EDIT; I am from Belgium

Maak H3(suiker moet eerst smelten voor het reageert) Uw verhoudingen liggen ook niet juist, reken eens stoichometrish uit wat de correcte verhoudingen zijn. Om nu terug te komen op H3, H3 is een mengsel van 75pctKClO3 en 25 pct C, Als dit mengsel goed gemengd is zal dit vele malen sneller branden dan BP. Een pyrotechnische sas ontploft trouwens niet, het is door de gasopbouw in een huls die plots vrijkomt dat je een knal krijgt, niet door de deflagratie in de open lucht(opgelet flash kan DIT wel doen in te grote hoeveelheden)

I recommend modified meal powder, more charcoal and less sulphur, slightly wettened with acetone/water mix, yesterday i made a rocket who got far over 100 meters of height.
