CATO is a failure of a rocket, generally explosive, where all the propellant is burned in a much shorter time than planned. Om zodoende stuwkracht te verkrijgen.

In de industrie wordt veel van het venturi effect gebruik gemaakt. Denk maar aan verfspuiten, vijverpompen, afzuigsystemen., carburateur..)
Maar heeft volgens mij niets met pyro technieken te maken.
Een venturi in pyrotechniek is een vernauwing/nozzle en niets anders.
