  1. please delete my acc, problems with law!
  2. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Cereal...amp;view=videos just compare the blue to the violet with the thumbnails and you`ll see.
  3. made some flares. one recorded daytime another at night. orange wasn`t that interesting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BBGJ5EYqx4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xoZUst5E10 please rate, comment and subscribe
  4. Well, I didn`t find it out by myself. It`s commonly known as shock and friction sensitive so i didn`t test it agian, not yet. I just made a small batch using CuCl (I) in ammonia and acetylene.

    CuC2

I prepared copper(I)-acetylide by bubbling acetylene gas through a solution of copper(I)chloride in ammonia (aq). Here you can see the test of 0,1g unconfined Cu2C2. It`s a red brownish powder and decomposes violently when heated. It`s safer than copper(II)-acetylide (CuC2) but much stronger! The black residue is copper(II)-oxide (CuO). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5nbFXhbFFY
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PomtvHrIqU...re=channel_page I`m sorry :-( youtube.com/cerealkiffer is my channel
  7. Yey, a good old hexachloroethane smoke bomb. It`s really small, compare the lighter with the little ball and produces much smoke for this little amount. PLease rate, subscribe and comment! I will soon test a 80g device. The amount on the video should be 3-5g, LESS THAN A TEASPOON!!!
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zczHZdYE2GU Better than my last blue KClO3 torch :-) Everything in the video. Please rate and comment!
  9. You have to press it! Or bind with water and press. A thin cardboard tube or baking paper is the best.
  10. Maybe you took PVC? I use the outburned parallel rolled tubes from old cakes. They have a really thin wall. Al thin wall is really important. Maybe you bind the chems and press them, later you remove the thick wall. Could also be possible!
  11. Well, it doesn`t need a prime but i had some H3 left :-) Maybe you noticed that i turned off the tone. It`s just to prefent you from hearing our voices :-D
  12. Green to orange to red flare. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-OBqb8sta8 Please rate and comment. All information in the video.

  15. That`s what im talking about, thanks a lot! Today I tried Weingarts "Toy Blue light" comp. but it was more a white than a blue colour. The next try with KClO3 65 CuCl (Copper(I)chloride) 20 SrCO3 5 Red Gum 10 worked much better!
  16. Well, I know the search function and google and this page, too. I just want to get some good comps. and not that strange stuff. Maybe you tried out something...
  17. Hello there. I am searching for blue, yellow and peech flare/illuminant/lance/torch compositions based on potassium chlorate (KClO3).
  18. Yes, that AgNT is interesting :-) I`ll try it soon!
  19. Well, I tested it in a PVC pipe too and it was horrible. The PVC really hided the colour. Next time i`m going to use paper tubes.
  20. This is an "answer" to axtrans video. I compare silver azide to lead azide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySpdsXurKjM Watch my other videos, comment, please.
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LJFeHHF07U Red Bengal Road Flare (Torch) I`ve made a little road flare out of „worthless junk chemicals" (techn. Sr(NO3)2 approx. 170µm, oxidized Mg/Al 60µm, parlon 100µm, old paper tube). First i mixed Mg/Al to Parlon, then i added Sr(NO3)2 und shaked the composition. After shaking i rammed it into the tube using a hammer. It has been ignited using magnesium powder and simple 2mm green chines visco. As you can see it burns really fast. Next time I will bind it with acetone (I tested less than ten grams pressed in the tube. About 700g of the comp are left. Time to make a big one ;-) ). The comp has got the following ratios (i used the tenfold, because i found 312g Sr(NO3)2 to kill :-D) : Sr(NO3)2: 31,2g Parlon:9,1g Mg/Al:20,3g You can change the ratio, it`s a really variable. E.g. you can replace Mg/Al with Mg. Add some S, KClO4 OR KClO3 to increase burning rate, change Sr(NO3)2 into SrCO3 or SrSO4. Other „junk videos will follow. Enjoy, rate and comment, please.
  22. It's called Pyroforum.NL so everybody should know that it's dutch (except the english section)!
  23. At first, I really like pyrotechnics. I read the Shimizu with open mouth . I do not only "play" with bangers! I make stars, flash powders, rockets, bengalos, smokebombs(i enjoyed your videos for building KAS suiker smokes, in Germany we've got white KAS whith 80% AN so the smoke is not brown ), fontains , gerbs, comets and shells in different diameters as well. Pyrotechnics is only one of my hobby's. Another one is explosives, but i do not want to tell you anything about it now. First i have to see how safe this board is. In germany the gouvernment hates people who do something like we do. As i told you in my first post i've made very good blackpowder with cia method and NOT with a ball mill (it's not available at the moment, because my friend is too lazy to deliver me my motor from a washing machine (he works in a little shop for electric motors)) My present Project is this one: http://youtube.com/watch?v=srjQEJP7hwI I will show you my gun in a threat in a few days! It's really simple to build one of these. BTW: Do you know the german "Kranky-Board" ? Removed because of rules violation!
  24. Hello pyro community! I'm Pyroe@gle, an 16 years old student from Gemany and very interested in pyrotechnics and explo*ive*. I do my hobby since i was 12 and learned a lot about how to build pyrotechnic material. I did Bp (very good!), Gp, some Flash mixtures like KCLO4 Dark Alu, KNO3 MG,..., Polumnas, M80, ammonium nitrate stuff (you know what i mean) and det. caps. (filled with organic peroxides, mhn, pe*t , shn, picric and lead a. and so on) I did some other things as well, but nothing special (stars, smoke effects, bengalos,...) This is a very old KAS Suiker smokebomb, but a bad mixture! I've made some better ones after this one. http://youtube.com/watch?v=d0ULYh6dVxg Here one of my first fontains, gold http://youtube.com/watch?v=cHCwdJ0TRqM Sorry for my bad english! Allso in Geman it is not allowed to sell chemicals thru our forum! T. Wfg Pyroe@gle
